Another thought came to mind while I was reading The Philatelist's Oath post. There was mention of removing selvage. Another thing that upsets me is when I go to buy a stamp and I look at the scan of the stamp and see no selvage for example and when I receive the stamp it has the selvage on. Even though it maybe a plate number single which may be worth more in most people eyes I want the stamp I see in the scan. Even if the stamp sent me is "worth" more then the scanned one.
Anyway just another stamp collectors thought.
