I'm going to disagree somewhat with your last point. I believe that posting images from or screenshots of eBay or other retail listings for educational or reference purposes is perfectly legitimate and is not fraud or stealing (unless you are trying to pass off the images or stamps contained therein as your own).

Based on previous posts, I know that you are extremely protective of your posted images, so I think this an area we'll just have to agree to disagree...

re: Posting images for educational use

Here's a different way to post philatelic images for educational use - sharing images of the stamps collages being created by the students who work on the Holocaust Stamps Project at Foxborough Regional Charter School in Foxboro, MA.

The kids learn about people, places, ideas, and values, and especially history and civics, while working with the stamps to create artwork that reflects what they have learned about this period in world history
.

As of mid-April,5,405,761 stamps had been donated from 33 states, Canada, Israel, and England, with the end goal being to amass 11,000,000, one for every innocent life taken during the Holocaust.
Your unwanted stamps in any amount and in any condition are welcome.

Thank you to those SOR members who have participated in the years since the Project began in 2009!
