The odds are good, but the goods are odd.

I believe the first one is a stamp from Turkey, and despite the thin paper it is printed on I can see a cancelation mark on it too so I am assuming it was used for postage.

I was wondering if anybody has any idea how old it is?

Next are a couple of stamps from South Korea (as far as I can tell)and again I was wondering how old they were? Here they are:

Thanks for any information and insight,

Your Turkish stamp is a 1948 official. Google Translate for 'resmi' ( = 'official'); Google Image for 'Turkey Official Stamp'; 'StampData' website.

South Korean stamps are from 1953 (Gibbons 'Stamps of the World' 57th edition, 1992)

Later: if you do not have a 'general' stamp catalogue such as the one above, there must be other online resources. Perhaps someone could help here?

Thank you Guthrum. I am working on getting a 'general' stamp catalog, but do not have one for the time being. Hope you have a great week,

Paul.

Amongst others, there is this one: Stampworld

The catalogue side of the site is divided by continent. The prices do not correspond to catalogue values, as the site is intended as a platform for buying and selling.

Use this purely for (loose) identification but don't expect comprehensive descriptions, or printing details. I'm not sure of the numbering system but it may well be based on Scott.

You may consider this to be a 'last resort' look up reference. It may help with identification; you'll just have to try it.

You may have to register with an email address and password to get full access. But this is free.

I may save this as a quote to refer collectors to frequently.
