While checking my listed lots I have discovered a beginner's mistake in one of the lots. If you can find the lot, it's yours for FREE. Just PM me through the SOR message system, before the lot sells, of course. LOL Oh, and since I make a lot of mistakes, you must find the lot I'm talking about, the ----------- , I guess I better not tell you, had I?
Mike
We've got a winner, Congratulations to Antonio (smauggie), who has found the lot in question. I did leave the lot "live", so everyone could check it out and will gladly give Antonio the monies, if anyone would care to purchase that lot. LOL
Mike
Well, are you going to tell us which one it was? Or do we have to petition Antonio? Inquiring minds want to know!
This one????
So what's wrong with that lot other than the fact the seller is hopelessly optimistic?
It has two of the Taft stamps. However, since Taft was quite a heavy-set guy...he did take up extra space.
Yeah, I saw the 2 Taft fifty centers, but figured he was there also in his capacity as Chief Justice, as the only person to have headed both the executive branch and the judicial branch. I figured Mike would put that in to play with my head considering his penchant for driving me nuts!
I thought maybe those interested would go looking further for the mystery lot, not give up and want me to tell them. LOL
I hoped everyone would appreciate my humor at that incredible price, but I guess I should go ahead and cancel the auction, just in case someone is heading over to buy it now! At least now I can say I gave away a Thousand dollar lot.
Congratulations to Smauggie again!
Mike
OMG what would you do if someone actually bid on it? Too funny! Thanks for the comic relief!
You might have sold it on eBay.
I think I'd let the process work and then when I had the cash or check in hand, I'd return it along with a note explaining that between this and some other unnamed site he is my 1,000,000th customer and as per SoR's Secret Santa Policy it is free except for a small handling charge, say $5.00.
I split the conversation regarding the error in an auction listing, because no responses are permitted in the want ads topic.
