I've seen stamps on rugs.

Hi all;
I have a collectible can that popcorn came in. I use it to toss all on-paper stamps that need to be
soaked into. It is on a 1960s theme and has pics of Kennedy and other 1960ish stuff. It also has
a dozen or so 1960s stamps on it as well.
I also have a jigsaw puzzle with an old stamp album, and stamps scattered everywhere on a desk.
The album is open to the Austria section, with all the cheap MNH definitive sets.
I think the album is the one with a red clothe cover, and has an airplane flying near a skyscraper,
and says "Modern something". I had one given to me as a kid by my geography teacher, who was
a part time vest-pocket stamp dealer.
The puzzle was also received as a gift from a very thoughtful friend, and very cute girl!
Great memories....

Probably 40 years ago I picked up this box with stamps on it. Some kids arts & crafts project probably.
I though what better place to keep all my stamps in and I do to this day.
No, not for postage stamps but for the stamps I've made for stamping patterns in metal for making jewelry.
Here's a like item, one I made myself back when I was young. I used damaged stamps and an old soup can. I also have a matching box. It's been on my desk ever since.
A commonly-sold Australian wine has the image of a kangaroo stamp, although I can't vouch for its accuracy (as a 'real stamp') at the moment. (I'll check it out at Tesco tomorrow!)
