Kuwait Scott #31
Kuwait Scott #54
Hi Michael
The 'T' in KuwaiT is a 1mm longer across the top
and 1mm higher in overall height than the stamp on the left.
So would you call the 'T' to be a elongated 'T' as reference to Scott 54a ?
Thank You..
I have never seen an example of these stamps with the KUWAIT overprint in the top half of the stamp, except when coupled with the overprint SERVICE in the lower half.

Same here, all my GV both W/Ms have the Kuwait overprint on the bottom half of the stamps. As have the 1939 issues of GVI I'm not sure if the service Kuwait O/P were done in one printing. The 1 rupee could be SG 12 or 25 depending on the W/M IE: large star or multi star
Or maybe they are forged O/Ps and putting them in the right place they would be noticed being over the cancels?
Just a thought!
Brian
Thank You for Looking
