Can some of the more experienced members direct me to a source of information that would cover the topic of bedding stamps? I recently acquired a small collection of them and I am curious to learn more about their origin, purpose, and circulation of use. Any pointers on this topic would be helpful. Thanks

re: Bedding stamps

There is a catalog of State Revenue stamps. I don't have the exact title, but this is
the source you need. The book was recently updated, but I don't own a copy to give you
any better info.

There is a great organization called the "State Revenue Society" The SRS has published a great catalog of State Revenue stamps. The 2nd printing was completed in 2008 with established catalog number, pictures, descriptions, usage and values of all 50 states and DC. The catalog system used is based by state the grouped by types of revenue. The SRS catalog is is the best source of information of state revenues I have yet found. For those of you interested in the in SRS you can contact them directly by e-mail: smtroutman@atlanticbb.net

Most excellent information! Thank you very much. After I conduct some research, I will post the results of what I learn. Perhaps someone else may be interested in bedding stamps as well.

re: Bedding stamps

I'm a member of the State Revenue Society as mentioned above,
and I am an avid revenue collector of federal, state and local revenues.

If you can post some images of what you have, I can probably identify some for you.
