I buy and sell on Stamporama, mainly for the social aspect and to acquire stamps and covers I need for my collection. I find myself buying from the same people and the same folks buy from me whenever I put lots up in the auction. Some of them are people I converse with on the message board so it's pretty much like trading. Someone buys a few things from me and puts money in my Paypal, and I turn around and send that money to someone else!

But that is how it all began and now I have made a few friends who chat with me or come to my rescue when I have a question that needs an answer. Mostly those I buy from know my collections now and even give me a heads up when something interesting is posted. I have exchanged stamps on the site but until I`m
shown how to set up and sell I will stick to trading A computer tech I am not...This family of folks on stamporama are truly great! Thankyou

Ok, i will start a thread...why i buy on stamporama..some other time i will say why i sell on stamporama...i guess the simple answer is ..its fun ! I have to admit that USUALLY price and shipping is a factor...but not always...sometimes i just feel like having fun. There are fellows here i have known for 15 years from other boards and i may bid with them just as a way of keeping in touch...they are not going to make a lot on the transaction..but i really don't think they care and appreciate the bids. Enough for now...later on will discuss my selling here.
