How can I purchase Imperforate stamps? I have been receiving mailings from a Stamp Seller based in New York for Imperforate stamps for huge markups. Does the US Post Office sell these direct? I cannot find them on their website. Thank you for any insight you all can provide.

I believe the USPS has stopped making them.

re: Imperforate Stamps

USPS offered press sheets without diecuts for many issues starting with the 2012 MLB issue (Scott 4694-97). You had to buy an entire press sheet (often 9 panes of stamps) and cut them up yourself. They were not available at the post office. I bought some press sheets and swapped with some folks that bought others. I also sold panes and strips to some dealers at face value just to reduce the amount of postage I had to burn through. A few issues I bought from a dealer at a markup.

USPS quit selling press sheets without diecuts a year or two ago. (You can still buy uncut press sheets WITH diecuts). The "imperf" (without diecut) stamps are minor catalog numbers, but if you really want some, check prices here and on auction web sites. Just don't expect to buy them for face value.

re: Imperforate Stamps

Does anyone know what the LAST USPS issue without die-cuts was?

I'm still using a 2016 Specialized and the last issue in it (#5003 6-1-15) shows a minor for imperf. How many were issued after that?

re: Imperforate Stamps

According to Linn's, the 2016 Lunar New Year stamp was the last stamp to be issued as an imperforate uncut die sheet.

Thanks, Michael! That's exactly what I was looking for.
Does anyone have a Scott US Specialized newer than my 2016 who can tell me what issues after #5003 (6-1-15) and before #5057 (2-15-16) were offered in no die cut press sheets (imperf)?

Easier to say which ones were not issued as imperforate uncut die sheets:

5013-5018
5019
5035
5037-5039
5052-5055

I think they stopped, because the heat was getting turned up regarding Mystic's buying out the imperforate sheets before they were released. It is hinted in the two Linn's articles. I think they gave Mystic a pass on the issue.
