Hi Horamakhet
That is a very interesting flaw, I have the entire progression set, it shows the beginning of the flaw, how it progresses and the end result, I'll find the stamps and upload them.
But back to yours.
It is only found on Sheet B. Row 6 (which is line 41), 8th stamp across (last stamp at end). This flaw is found on both the coil and normal perf sheets in the same position, it is impossible to say which sheet yours is from but the position is the same (normal perf variety is scarcer). The ACSC catalogue value for a used stamp is $20.00
One of the graphs I created from the book I am writing relating to the 1938-49 ½d kangaroo. It's position is shown as a "3" on the graph. The ACSC number is 179g.
The date looks like "12DEC56" I was 8 days old.

Hi Rob
Can hardly wait till the book is published
It sounds like a must have.

Hi Horamakhet
It will be awhile before the book is published (maybe sometime in 2019), it will be very detailed with many types of varieties and colour photos etc. I believe it will be an important book relating to the ½d kangaroo from 1938-1956.
There won't be any flyspeck varieties listed as there would be too many and of no importance.

Hi Rob
If I come across anymore blocks of the roo, in the collection I purchased I will email you scans.
The other Third of the collection should arrive next week.
It has a lot of pre-Federation state stamps, but I think the majority are used, but it will be interesting to see what is actually in the remainder.
Horamakhet
Hi Horamakhet
If you do I should be able to locate their positions, I'll be identifying the roos you previously emailed me soon.
Rob
Hi to all
JUst found this variety in the collection I purchased.
It is SG179a
It is the line under the O of postage, to the ear of the roo.
It is going to take a long time to properly assess all the stamps in the album part of the collection, let alone the actual loose stamps in envelopes.
I shall enjoy every moment.
Regards
Horamakhet
