If i averaged it out per week i probably sell enough to purchase a Big Mac,fries and coffee. The thing is i have so many stamps lying dormant, my duplicates, most stamps after 1969 that i do not collect etc; they are not doing anyone any good stacked in computer paper boxes or 102 cards. I remember a time when show dealers would bring remainder albums and let people pick at 8 or 10 cents a stamp..some guys would have piles in the hundreds. The APS shows still have dealers like that but its usually a day trip away from me. So i use Stamporama as a trading platform...i am always looking stamps that fit my needs and i list singles and sets in the 15 cent to 1.50 range. I guess its fun, why else would i do it?

I was thinking about that.. stamps I own that have never been in a collection.. some have been in my hoard for 40 years. Stamps that have always been someone's duplicates!

I was sorting covers a while back. I noticed several covers from the same 1932 event, serviced by the same guy, all in a stack. Those covers have been together 87 years! They've always just been in a box, never the ONE cover in someone's album. Sad!

Stamporama approval books are good for that purpose.
