BTW, they aren't as common as you might think. This is the only one in my database (20 years) and I sold it 7 years ago. It only went for $3. Just not a lot of people collecting these. It would probably hang around in most dealers' stock for years, priced at $20 until the right person came along, but I work on turnover.

I have a registered envelope from Einschreiban durch Luftpost Dec 9 1980 to a Canadian resident in BC. It has a red Canada Post CARDED Return to station label on the lower right hand corner There is no indication that the postage wasn`t sufficient. What does carded mean?
