Jules, sometimes the paypal costs etc out weigh the sales value of a few stamps.
I know Ian. The baffling part is the complete lack of communication while the stamps were mailed without them being paid for.
I also bought some stamps from Dennis. No problems and I was happy with the stamps. A short time after, he posted on here looking for some free stamps. Turns out, he lives in an assisted living facility which means he has some serious health problems. He apparently has been a collector for a very long time and is able to spend his time with stamps. He also has introduced stamps to a group in the facility. I sent them 2- 1/2 pound bags of U.S. off paper that I’ve accumulated since the 80’s. I hope that they are having fun with them and that their health problems are at least stable.
Good to know I will mail him stamps soon!
I bought a few stamps from Dennis a while ago. He e-mailed me an invoice for 1 cent which I thought was some type of housekeeping on his end. Then he e-mailed me a note a second invoice with 42 cents worth of stamps was shipped. I looked into the system and I saw 3 separate invoices generated in the system from him to me. I e-mailed him at the time but there was no response. I believed the order was cancelled for some reason, which was still OK with me.
Surprise , surprise. Yesterday I received the stamps!
But I have never paid for them or for the postage.
I e-mailed Dennis again and although he logged in today, no response again!
Is he our club Santa who is giving stamps away to collectors?
Thanks Dennis, I do not mind paying for the stamps, if a gift, thanks again!
