it looks like it has been thinned, perhaps in removing tape or a meter. the thin area is not consistent, so it's not a paper type

Hi Horamakhet

Lightly run your finger over the length of the back, if the entire back has a uniform feel (the same all over) it's translucent, if the back feels thick and thin, then the stamp had been thinned when it was removed.
The best way to do it, which I fully recommend, is to get a micrometer and measure the stamp.
