After suggesting a stamp theme to Canada Post for their 2022 program, I received this letter which may be useful to those of you wondering what will becoming up next.

The theme I suggested wasn't selected - surprise, surprise ;-)

We did have a few interesting events after my suggestion. One of our BC towns hit record high temperatures three days in a row, with the high reaching just shy of 50'C. On the fourth day the town burnt to the ground - check Lytton, BC.

We also had a tornado pummel through a town in Ontario and floods in Quebec. It is getting more dire by the minute.

But why do we want to recognize this on our stamps and try to raise awareness - it might hurt our economy!
