Hi Monique...
If you ask me, I'd say they are more than likely orchids, similar to Scott 705 and 986.
That would be my best guess! Seems odd that no one has ID'd the plants among any of the stamps. Birds are the subject & leave it at that!
Peter
I'm not familiar with NZ wildflowers, but the white one on the left reminds of something like a Primula; not sure what to make of the blue one on the left. Not a lot of useful resources online for NZ plants that I'm aware of.
The blue flowered one on the right looks similar to Wahlenbergia violacea (violet harebell)
This foxglove Ourisia cespitosa might be the one on the left
I'm inclined to agree with Wahlenbergia but maybe one of the books or sites mentioned here may help.

The Rock Wren being an Alpine bird, the higher altitude plants are most likely to have been used as extras on the stamp.
Edit to add. Of course it could just be the imagination of the designer.
Wahlbergia is the conclusion I'd come to. I shall note it down as that. Thanks for the confirmation.

Could someone involved with this thread possibly post an image or 2 of the stamp and/or flower in question?
It would help those of us who are not familiar with these stamp issues to visualize the object of discussion!
I see a couple of you have provided links to flower images, but an image of the actual stamp would be nice.
Thanks!
Here is the stamp…
Thanks, Pete!!
Can anyone tell me, please, what wildflower is pictured on the New Zealand 45 c rock wren stamp? Scott 924, SG 1436B.
Thanks,
Texas Monique
