I'm curious about the logic behind something. I'm bidding on a post card I am hoping to get but I noticed something a bit odd, or at least I think so. The postcard is a real picture post card and there are two items added to the card during production in the white script you quite often see that I think is added to the original photo during the developing process. One is the place name, which makes sense, but the other is just the word "copyright". What is the sense in adding this word if there is no copyright number or the person's name? This makes very little sense to me!

re: A post card question

Basically, it means that the picture is copyrighted without going into details. Those would have been available from the publisher upon request.
