If I loved them, I'd keep them in a stock book.
All of my postcards, in all sizes, are stored in Vario stock sheets, most in sheets with four pockets. If I limited my collection to only those postcards that wouldn’t fit in some sort of album or stock sheet, my collection wouldn’t be nearly as interesting as it is, at least to me.

I use page protectors to make my own stock sheets for covers. Using a hot glue gun (without glue) you can fuse the page protectors, into any size of a pocket you need, with a few quick touches of the hot tip to the plastic. Fuse a few spots in a line, like rivets, to form the pocket. I have a template made up. I cut an opening for the pocket, with an exacto knife, in the top layer of plastic, then slide the template up, and use it as a guide to place the line of hot melt rivets, just above the opening you cut.
the page protectors are cheap: 10 for $1.25 at the dollar store. You can get acid free ones. The heaver plastic is definitely better than a light plastic protector.
I use the Ultra Pro 2 pocket pages for all my collections just for the reason you mentioned. Nobody can tell me what size to collect!

Attn. Post Card enthusiasts. I have just received several beautiful Post Cards that measure 4 x 9 inches. A couple of years ago I was told by a Post Card "expert" that if I was going to collect Post Cards to collect ONLY the Regular 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch size and to avoid the Continental 4 x 6 inch size, and by all means to avoid the larger sizes. The reason given being that commercially available Post Cart Albums will only accommodate the Regular Size Post Cards. It seems to me that those black stock sheets would work very nicely to store and display the larger size Post Cards. Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
