Great post Al ! There are some really interesting inserts/stiffeners in mailings. I'll try and find a few but I do use mine up when I can.
I guess Viagra would be out of the question.... C'mon, it's a joke!
Since many here get mailings from SOR sellers, there should be lots to show.
Yesterday's mailings received from john9913 included a sheet of white cardstock. No point in posting a photo of that. I also received one from Soundcrest, but that was yesterday and what, besides stamps were included is now long gone from my mind!

I hadn't thought of posting in this thread until I received this one in the mail yesterday.
For such a large dealer I'd consider this poor packing. A piece of cardboard the size of a cover just swimming around inside the no 10 envelope with 4 fdcs. BTW, shipment through an eBay Buy It Now took two weeks.
This is how my orders go out. Recycled manila folders cut to size on my cutting board. Cards or covers inside it. This is the size for postcards that goes in the no 6 size envelope. I ship mostly same day, but never more than the 3 days eBay states. Lots of feedback for great packing.
This is not a stiffener but another creative way to reuse stamp materials in mailings. A seller had cut a protection sheet in half to protect it. I stuffed some duplicate soaked stamps in it.
I have used sheet protectives like a glassine to store stamps (soak, etc) and put them in a 3 ring binder.
I don't recognize any of these stiffeners.
Mine would look more like this one
What a funny coincidence. Just received this one from one of our top notch Canadian sellers.
Never seen this packaging in any of our stores! I would have definitely bought a box for Charlie.
Cougar,
You're right, that is a good product, and both of my dogs love it. It is a bit pricy if you buy the packets, which is what is shown, but less for the cans. It is called "Pedigree" and comes in 18 individual packets for around $20 US of course, but shop around, some of the Dollar stores have it on sale for $15 US.
Mike
I,m not going to say who it came from, someone from this site...
I hope he doesn't get lost on his next road trip
Here are some recent additions to my collection (kept for supposed reuse). I did not show the cut up USPS Priority Mail envelopes.
