There are Swedes here in Stamporama who can undoubtedly explain this, but I would say Bakhållaren means something like to be kept for, or in postal jargon Poste Restante / General Delivery

Here is a cover from Oct 1894 that is cancelled from the Joy Post Office in Minnesota. I has a clear receiving cancel on the back from New York on Oct 26, 1894. I'm having trouble understanding the address on the front. Any help you can give me would be very much appreciated.
