Liz,
I have successfully photographed tagged stamps under a UV lamp. The new iPhones are amazing in their ability to photograph in near darkness without flash. But a lesser smartphone or any camera with user adjustable exposure should be able to provide useful images, although with you’d probably have to use a tripod or find some way to stabilize the camera.

It's easy enough. Set up a stand for your phone. Arrange the stamp & zoom in until you are happy. I take a well lit photo first to make sure all looks OK. Turn out the white (or whatever colour you have) lights and turn on the UV lamp. Snap a photo. I've done it for years, but do you think I can find any now? Nope!

Guess I have a problem Bob. I do not own a cellphone, mainly because I cannot hear well enough to use any communications device other than my special phone for hearing impaired people.
My digital camera doesn't have any bells and whistles. It's been so long so I took it out of its case it's probably seized up with old age (like me).
Maybe when my granddaughter is here at Christmas I'll put her to work with her iphone. She had some beautiful photographs taken of night skies this past summer.
Thanks for your response and suggestions!
Can anyone help me by providing the information I need to scan a stamp that has tagging error that shows up under UV light? I'd like to scan it so that the error is visible.
I have never seen such a dramatic tagging error as this one is. I only noticed it as I was sorting through some stamps under a bright light and the surface of the stamp had a weird reflection when tilted under the light (IMO). When I put it under my UV light there is only partially tagging on part of the stamp and then a diagonal slash of tagging across the top part of the stamp.
I'd like to share this image with our members, but I don't have a clue as to how I might accomplish this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
