I second that Liz!
Over the past 6-12 months there seemed to be a really bad trend of packages not finding their way to Australia, so I even considered the dreaded "blocking" tactic.
But more than happy to report that the last one I sent (the first in 9 months) got through in record time.
Glad to see this (hopefully) resolved back to the way it was pre-Covid.
Dave.
Now if we could just get the same delivery times for mail sent within Canada and to the USA I'd be really pleased.
Unfortunately I have one envelope that was mailed on August 12th to Florida that we presume has been lost in the system as it still has not arrived.
The member has advised me that some ordinary mail was not, and still has not been delivered due to the hurricane. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the envelope will show up soon.
I sent a package to my son in Sydney Australia and the package was cut open and an item removed. They knew exactly where the item was in the package. The probability was it was removed at or shortly after the package had gone through the X-ray machine.

Afdtrer a hurricane like Ian it might well
show up all right, ...... in Halifax.
I'm really impressed with the postal services at the moment.
Two envelopes I posted just under two weeks ago have arrived at their destination in Australia!
It is amazing considering it takes two days for mail to arrive at the sorting facility in Vancouver from here.
Cheers and a big thank you to all postal workers at this busy time of the year.
