Would greatly enjoy learning more about various markings on covers, so yes! Sounds awesome!
Sound like a great Idea. I would like to see them.

U.S.19th century?
Could other members also show covers or only you?
Could fiscal instruments be shown?
There is another stamp site that is doing this.
Would only the covers/instruments owned by a member be used?
Hope this works, but I wonder how much current value it would deliver!
I think it would be awesome and educational.

Great idea - for me stamps are a sideline of postal history and ephemera.
I would definitely be interested in a cover discussion group. Sounds like a fine idea to me!
Just call it "Cover of the Day" and if we only have 2 or 3 a week, that is fine, Roy.
Some covers are ho-hum, some covers beg to be researched. This will work better if we have covers shown to us with something interesting to talk about.
I also would suggest some basic information about the cover in the title. That way we don't end up with a hundred articles titled: "Cover of the Day."
Perhaps... Cover of the Day/ year / country / cover highlights / or something like that for a format.

Great minds think alike.
Got you covered on all points. See the first one already posted.
Roy
Good cover for the first one, Roy. I would like to see any Hong Kong Queen Victoria covers or Hong Kong registered covers on future days.
Thanks,
Linus
This is going to be fun. Already got an HK Vickie picked out for you.
Registered covers up to what period? Just scanned one today that's going up tomorrow for next week's auction. Pretty modern though.
Roy
You can start with the oldest one you sold, that would be fine with me.
150,000 covers, wow! How did you keep them sorted?
Do you live in a dry area or humid area?
Did you have any trouble storing them, like mice, mold etc. and etc?
"150,000 covers, wow! How did you keep them sorted?"
"Did you have any trouble storing them"
I have a database of 150,000 covers that I have sold on ebay going back 22 years. Still have all the pictures. Prices realized range from $3 to $2,000.
Any interest in seeing a "Cover of the Week" ? (of the Day, if I get the participation and can find the time each day).
I see doing it like an Improv show ... audience shouts out a topic / country / theme and I'll see what I can show. I may provide a short description, but philatelic "write-up" contributions to the post will be welcome and will hopefully stir conversation.
You're the audience. Shout away if you are interested.
