My guess, if it was a used album, is the page was printed before the entire set was issued, then supplemented later with a replacement page that included the full set. For whatever reason, the collector kept and filled both pages.

I have to admit that I have done that. Why not?

''.... I have to admit that I have done that. Why not?...''
Absolutely, I do that all the time, especially if the stamps are really neatly mounted.
If you had two examples of the Mona Lisa, you might mount them side by side on your library wall, would you not.?
Or two photos of your beautiful daughter.
Rule of thumb;` it is your album, your hobby, created to provide your pleasure and satisfaction.

I have just purchased the above album, and for some reason it has two page #25's ,all with hingless mounts ,but one has a full set of the 1980/81 aircraft the other has nearly the same only has 1980 on the page and 12 of the aircraft stamps ? Even my Stanley Gibbons lists some as being issued in 1980 but not 12,
and 8 in 1981 &v 5 in 1980 the rest have no issue date includng the $5-00,does any one have any idea why they would do this ,it seems rather strange?.
