I'd like to pass on my method of finding rare stamps (U.S.A.)

The most important method is to check all 3 sides of a stamp (yes there are 3 sides to each stamp.

Front side not much information, type if more than one type, design measurement.

Back side most important always use the water mark process for condition issues, watermark, check clues for how the stamp was printed.

Edge side useful for checking flat printed coils, and coils in general, etc. and etc. straight edges examination.

This is part of my method, I'll write more later.
