The eBay listing states that it is "possibly a postaly used counterfit".
It looks like a postally used essay to me. 11-E22

Ahhhh! Now I see what you mean under "Seller's notes". It's not exactly obvious and you have to hunt for it. For me, any copy, fantasy, facsimile etc. item should clearly say so in the description line.
If it had been a contemporary counterfeit that was actually used to pay postage I think it would be noteworthy but to me, the "cancel" looks bogus also.
Lousy resolution and "washed out" color - look at some of his other offerings. Ebay is becoming a devil's playground. (Actually been pretty bad for years........ make that decades ever since they took away who was bidding and the panel of experts who used to keep things under control.
