I have just been given an Acrobat LDC video magnifier by someone whose vision has gone from terrible to non-existent. The only problem is that my wife says, "It's not going to remain on my kitchen table." So, I ordered a large computer table to accommodate it. I think it will be useful to examine old, cancelled stamps - where the cancel is only partially visible.
my daughter bought me a "hat" with a variety of magnifiers on it as well as light, so I can change brightness and magnification . let me know if you want the name/model and I'll see if i can track it down.
I like it a lot
Have one from amazon!
Use it for wood-splinters!
Better, than you'd think.
Don't know the exact listing, by the way!
@amsd
Yours sounds interesting, without too much effort any info would help, maybe just the name of the company, I take it from there.

Are there any new types of these?
Something with lights, hand held.
