Auctions - Approvals
Before Don's untimley passing he provided a web based auction tool for clubs to use. Our local club and two others in Ontario have been making use of it since COVID stuck and it has been quite popular among our members. I was wondering if there are other clubs that are using it and if so perhaps we could participate in a ZOOM meeting to share how we use it and exchange ideas.

If your club is using this please contact me and I will try to arrange a meeting.

re: StampSmarter Auction Usage

Our club is not using it but I would like to learn more about it. What is it called?

re: StampSmarter Auction Usage

Don set up separate pages for each club to load lots, do maintenace and display the auction.

Here is our current page of lots being setup for the next auction:
https://stampsmarter.org/AuctionFiles/Cat_OTC_List.aspx

We run it biweekly on Friday evenings with a live and silent part to the auction.

The "live" being a Zoom meeting and the silent thru email proxy bids.

Its worked quite well for us, the other two clubs run monthly and it seems to be very popular with everyone.

I was hoping to find out if there are other clubs doing it as well and see what other ideas they had for them. We have been running for 5 years now and see no end in site but can always use new perspectives.

I think the members in my club (JPSCC)
Would find all this techy stuff to much for them!
(I'm webmaster, jpscc.org by the way)
