Joe,
It grieves me deeply that my country has devolved to a state where one would wonder if such a post would be considered political. I hope that one day the United States will rejoin the community of civilized nations.
If anyone considers this to be political, I don't care.

Harry, I agree with you 100% that this is not a political story, but I have learned (the hard way) to be careful! The fact that a political figure is involved is enough for some people to consider this a political story. It also involves civil rights which might be considered off limits here. The number of people involved in StampoRama means that all views are probably represented here. I learned, again the hard way, to stay away from the "issue" of climate change. I also showed a joke concerning Alice Kramdon on the moon which led to an accusation of misogyny. So I try to be very careful of what I post, even though sometimes I just say "what the heck!" and just go for it!! I remember having a serious conversation in my shop about whether or not the moon landing actually happened. I remember listening to two American tourists in my antique shop discussing where they hid their guns in their car. You have to be careful on this site, and in other places as well, about what you say and who you say it to.
EDIT: You have to be real old to get this!!

There is a post office in Indianola named in 2008 for Minnie Cox
When our son was working a bookstore in Victoria, BC, an American woman came in, back when Canadian and U.S. dollars were at par, purchased a couple of items, and paid for them with U.S. currency. Our son gave her change in Canadian currency. She said, referring to the money in her hand, “What’s this?” Our son said, “That’s Canadian money.” She said, “Canadian money? Am I in Canada?”
We have a “member” of our family — our daughter-in-law’s older sister — who believes the moon landing was fake. How can democracy survive with fools like her allowed to vote? She’s in charge of nothing, but probably has the “political”chops to head NASA. May we send her to you?

The heights of stupidity are without bounds!! I'm taking a bit of a chance with this next little bit, please don't take offence! I have dealt with many types of fanatics in my shop over the years!! I am 62.5 percent native, my birth mother was 25% and my birth father was 100%. I mentioned this to a native couple that were in my antique shop looking at some native baskets and ended up with a group hug that I didn't want and an hours lecture on their culture!
I also had a very pious individual come in one day discussing the flatness of the Earth. He was convinced of this because the translation of the Bible he used mentioned something about the "four corners of the Earth". You really can't argue with people about things like that!
Thank goodness for the eccentrics!
Otherwise we would all be identical moronic robots!!
