Just have patience.
In a few days it will become clearer and wander down to your local post office and they will know the score by then.
The buyer will pay more!
The buyer may choose not to pay more by purchasing from another country.
I frequently decline to purchase when the shipping costs far exceed a reasonable sum. I think this will become more apparent when the internet sales sites start to add in the customs and handling fees as well as using it to add to their own corporate earnings.
"as well as using it to add to their own corporate earnings."
tha was actually a sentence
Buyers will pay if you offer the right material!
"The buyer will pay more!"
Just had a wander to our two Post Offices.
One says "Everything Back to Normal". "No extra 50pence handling charge". "No collection of Tariffs".
Second says " Letters No Problem". "Large Letters need Customs Form". "No idea about extra 50pence handling charge or collection of Tariffs"!
I'll wait another couple of days and ask them both again.
"The way it looks so far is that I normally list my items at catalogue +15%."
I think that was a typo, and should have read at 15% of catalogue.
I have been trying to find out the current Royal Mail situation in regards to items from UK to USA. Confusing seems to sum up the situation.
This link is regarding the Postal deliveries duty paid, not sure how it will work if you don't have internet or cell "phone.

From this latter article I quote,
"What duties will apply to goods? For goods (or gifts over $100), shipped via Royal Mail PDDP services, duties will be calculated according to the country tariff for the item’s country of origin (where an item was made"
Yes it was a typo it should read @15% of catalogue.
As for the situation re UK to USA. My 2 local post offices are not clear so I'll give it another couple of days.
