My Michel specialized Germany catalogue has almost 60 pages of information for the local stamps issued after 1945 and another 20 with the various private issues from the same period.
Thanks for the response Jansimon. I have two Michel German catalog; 1967/68 and 1972/73. As they are written in German, I'll have to do some digging to see if I can find what I'm looking for. It would be nice if someone has created some album pages for the locals but you can't have everything.

Don't know exactly what you're looking for, but you might look at:
https://www.germanstamps.net/germanstamp ...
Terry: That's one of the sites I always look at for German stamp lookups. Thanks!
Okay. Paul...
Here's one that is for Local issues specifically. However, it only covers 1945-1946. But the table of contents lists 30 entities comprising 51 pages, so must be quite a substantial set:
https://www.pdfstampland.se/Germany_Loca ...
The site is from Sweden, but $13.00 seems to be an excellent offer.
Thanks Terry... Good site for album pages.
I think I own one of the few copies of this in existence, but do you need any info from this?
NOTE: I do not really like this area, but this book was gifted to me by one of my good friends, so I have kept it.

Ari: Third Reich is not the problem. Post War locals (with all the forgeries) are hard to identify. Thanks anyway!

psgSTAMPER look at the following thread here at Stamporama :
https://stamporama.com/discboard/disc_ma ...
It starts after the chapter FELDPOST
Germany under Allied occupation
HockeyNut: WOW! Great thread! I'm going to have to spend some time on this material. You know these are some hard to find items. Thanks for the heads-up!
I am buying a specialized GPS german bookset that probably has some info you need.
PM me if there is something certain you need to research!

Just wondering if anyone has a good source of documentation (and if so lucky) and/or album pages for post WWII German locals. This info seems to be rather sketchy and it is an interesting field of study.
