Good Morning All.

I have a question as to when I should flag an invoice as closed.

If I flag an invoice as 'closed' can my customer still access the invoice and enter the date when the order was received?

Not all of my customers mark orders received but most do. I want to flag invoices as 'closed' as soon as I can which is right after I ship the order. Just makes it a bit easier to work with the invoice page when I can fillter out the ones I have already shipped.

Hi Don,
Yep, that should work just fine. I believe you are about to send me a shipment of stamps etc. We can test the process together.

Regards ... Tim.

Tim looks like we can do it even sooner. I will get in touch with you off-board and give you the information.

I will be sure to post the results here for anyone who might be interested.

You just have to love all of the back-office paper work. LOL...
