Thank you to the "mystery" Stamporama member who has sent his/her third envelope full of stamps from the U.K. to Foxboro, MA and the Holocaust Stamps Project.

It's this kind of support that has led to the latest total of counted stamps (5/7/2013) reaching 2,124,513, as the Project continues on towards its goal of 11 million, one for every victim of intolerance and hatred.

Did anyone see the displayed materials for the Project at the Boxborough, MA show this past Saturday? Thanks to the Israel Philatelic Society for hosting the space for it!

Do you prefer a shipment of multiples of one design, a variety of stamp sizes and colors, or it doesn't matter, just send stamps? I can accommodate either or both.

Cheers,
Peter

Yes, Martyn, I'm very impressed both with the art and the cause. I have bags of hundreds of UK and US stamps, some of the same design. I will send those along soon.

Cheers,
Peter

re: UK member supporting Holocaust Stamps Project

Peter and Martyn - Many thanks for your wonderful interest and continued support!

One of the new Holocaust Stamps Project stamps collages, now nearing completion, includes many of the UK stamps because the artwork's theme is the Kindertransport, the rescue mission facilitated by (Sir) Nicholas Winton (now 102 yrs old!) which saved the lives of more than 900 Czech Jewish children by transporting them by train from Prague to Holland prior to the trip across the Channel into the arms of waiting British foster families!

Feel free to continue spreading the word, by your personal social networks, even to non- philatelists who might want to save-and-send their stampsHappy
