..but i took an interest in the covers and postcards of the 1933-1934 Chicago Century of Progress Expo ! Was wondering if others shared an similar interest. I will show mine if you show yours !

Hi Phil,
Here the three major varieties of the Century of Progress slogan cancel:
With 1933 year date:
With last 3 in 1933 excised (used in 1934):
With 1934 year date:
The 193 and 1934 dates are less common than the 1933 year. Collecting all varieties going by the machine number incorporated in the dial could make a nice specialized collection. I have a dozen or so. Always put them aside when I came across one, but never bought any of these specifically.

Thank You Arno, i did not have that information about the 3 slogans...i have several of the 1933 type..heres one for the last day of the expo !!
