You are always welcome Kiwi !
The website you mentioned is very good. I bookmarked it long ago.
Also the sheets you shown are lovely. This issue was a turning point in Israel Philately in my opinion after some years of poor issues......and until today, much care is taken over the design of the nation's stamps.

Yes, it's a great website, thought someone like you had it in its favoutite! It is, by the way, always difficult to find the year of issue on those stamps; unless it is written somewhere in hebrew, maybe. (sometimes on the tabs, but not always).

To be fair, this one I admire well, it is much better design as Chagall, shown in previous post, if You have it, see just quality of printing, that is really great advance in Israel stamp design!

Hello Milco! Very nice block. Do you have its year of issue?
The actual Windows which Chagall made are far better than the stamp! Go and see them for yourself in Jerusalem!
Incidentally several other countries have Chagall windows of various designs...not sure if they all have stamps as well!!!
The windows are spectacular. For the ART amateurs, there is a fabulous exhibit of Chagall's work and you can check it out on the internet.
It is in Baux de Provence in the "Carrieres" or in English the stone Quarries. I will try to post a link when I have access to my computer, and it is high on my list of stops for my trip in France this summer!
Google it for now. From my iphone. Rrr

Hi to all Israel stamp fans! I have the 12 stamp sheets of this serie and here are 6 of them. Wanted to share them as I find those sheets full of biblical symbols and History. They are just beautiful!
As some of you know, in my secondary school projects, we are many teachers ready to use stamps in this special course. Those ones will be used in class with our art teacher. She is really excited by the idea!!
Also , I have found a website that has really helped me to sort out my Israel collection along with Londonbus1 that has been of great help (thanks again!). Can you tell me what you think about this website?
