A news item about stamps caught my eye today:
Australian video stamps

"The Australian Post Office has just introduced a postage stamp with a QR code that lets the sender record a 15 second video message as part of their letter or parcel. This obvious but brilliant idea is being trialled in the run up to Christmas in the hope that it brings a more personal touch to items sent to family and friends.

Good question!

Remember Harry Potter movies, and how photos in magazines and newspapers were "live"? I can see the day when stamps, if they still exist, will be live.

And speaking of which, Harry Potter stamps will be issued by the USPS on Tuesday November 19, for those muggles so inclined. Happy

Bobby,
I'm reminded of a Woody Allen comment when asked about a near death experience- he responded "my life flashed before my eyes-I yawned!"

The idea is neither obvious nor brilliant to me.
