USPS Scott # 3694 in 2002, depicts early Missionary stamps from Hawaii 1851 - 1853. Can StampoRama members familiar with this era's Missionary's Hawaiian post, explain how the USPS seemingly in 2002, (Scott#3694) depicts Hawaiian stamps with no discerning Scott #'s?
Scott #'s seem to begin for Hawaii in H-74, 75, 76, 77, 78, & 79 in 1886(?). Please see the image and give member Bismark the credit for beginning this Hawaiian missionary discovery!Image Not Found

I'm afraid I do not understand the question. The stamps are in Scott as Hawaii #1-4.

Are you quoting these numbers from an actual Scott catalog, or possibly from the early pages of an album, which has left out the rarities?

re: AMERICANA-Early Scott #'s for Hawaiian Missionary Stamps 1851 - 1853

Thanks ROY; Basically we were just wondering how the USPS identifies it's facsimiles of rarities--as we have no Int'l.Scott catalog available and had seen some Missionary Hawaiian's available in Majestic Stamp Co. catalog. Thank you again for giving us some perspective on these. Much interesting postal history here, as to when would the U.S. Post Office had begun it's territorial postal activities, How many Hawaiian stamps were Missionarys', how many from the Hawaiian royalty, or possibly how many from contractors similar to the contemporary Pony Express Russell, Majors and Waddell western postal contractor to Sacramento $5.00 in 7 days.
