Less than 12 hours have elapsed since the introduction of this quiz, but maybe I need to flag that with another hot little clue on this Monday morning.
Good luck with that!
Mike
Could it be something Brazilian?
That was my first reaction too.
Is it Brazil SG 2853 (1997)?
I think it is. Scott # 2646
OH WOW, you both were quick to jump on that. I wish I had been around earlier when you had responded, but have been busy today. Anyhow, those are great guesses, but you both are wrong. I figured that Brazilian flag would be recognized right off the bat, but what a tease that turned out to be, that's one reason it was the first clue. OK, get back to work and put your thinking caps back on and travel around for a while, looking up and down, then make a better guess. LOL
Those guesses deserve another great clue!
Mike
Wholly moley, that's not much of a clue.
Mike
You're right - not much of a clue.
It must be one of the other three then, but which?
I'll try Paraguay - SG1521
Of the 4 in the joint issue, I would say it has to be Scott Uruguay 1681(26Sep1997).
If you draw a horizontal line from the base of the Brazilian flag, it intercepts the star to the right. This only happens on the Uruguay stamp. Yeah, the stars have ever so slightly different positions on the 4 stamps.
Sorry, I meant 5 joint issues.
Here is the line I drew. It only intercepts the star on the Uruguay issue.
The star is slightly higher on the Argentinian stamp, and then higher on the Paraguayan stamp. The Bolivian stamp has an entirely different arrangement of stars.
Congratulations Kim, you are absolutely right. I like the way you added the lines to show the symmetry of the star to the flags.
That was a great one and picked totally at random. I had no idea there were more stamps related to this one, since I don't even collect any South American stamps. I only discovered that fact while looking up Jan-Simon's guess and was pleasantly shocked to see the notation about the other stamps.
Very good job, Kim, and better luck to everyone else that participated.
Mike
Thanks, Mike!
It was relaxing to pop in and have some fun. But the others did the hard work. I had the advantage of reading their posts.

I'm sorry for that screw up on the last quiz. I have quickly put together another quiz for everyone to enjoy. This is from only one single stamp and I think maybe easier, so let's call it "For Idiots".
Same rules as the other one, plus the winner gets the stamp again.
OK, I'm missing some much needed beauty sleep, so here come the first clue.
Good luck,
Mike
