I'll give you $2 for it !!
A sign of that Western values are in decline is that investor won't accept a 200% profit. Of course, that's a sign that the investor is not a profiteer. Or is it...? Just how high is his moral highroad? Philb, I will offer $3!

But, I learned in Sunday School that it is better for you to give than to receive, and better for me to receive than to give! At least that's the way I remember it!

Bob, thats true..the Israel-Palestine cover is in my keeper cover albums...that means its mine for life...if it happens that i pass first i will leave a letter stating that Jopie should send the cover to Michael Hide if he still wants it !
Why Philb that's mighty kind of you. What a decent thought from a decent chap. But I hope that doesn't happen and that we both live long and happy.....Bobstamp too !
My interest in the cover, apart from the obvious, is that I had no idea there was a PIPEX in London in 1953 until I saw your post. Nothing unusual to many and most here but when you consider that I haver been collecting British Philatelic Exhibition Cinderellas and Ephemera for the best part of 15 years, you will understand my surprise !!
And also my offer of $2 !!
Londonbus1....OK then, $4 !!
Looks like a great deal for a dollar!
FYI, the November issue of Society of Israel Philatelists'(SIP) The Israel Philatelist journal will carry an article I wrote updating its worldwide readers on the progress of the Holocaust Stamps Project based at Foxborough Regional Charter School in Foxboro, MA.
As of August 25, 2014, the new stamps total was 4,082,318, about a third of the goal number.
Donations of postage stamps in any quantity, damaged or not, continue to be sought as the Project moves forward towards its target goal of collecting 11,000,000 stamps to honor the memories of every victim.
Sent a packet last week and another on the go.
And I'd still like to haggle for Philb's cover !!
Got a few hundred foreign stamps I do not collect,so I will send them off.
Londonbus1 and Charlie2009...Many thanks!
Cover arrived Philb.....very nice and will be studied hard upon my return from blighty.
Many thanks for agreeing to an exchange.

Hmmm, your subject heading made me think this was about Israelis and Palestinians finding common interest in philately - what a fascinating opportunity that would be! But, alas, I guess not...
Great cover, though!

When it comes to covers you never know what is going to appeal to me..i found this one in a dollar box at the Hartford show and it stirred up some interest in the dealer and buyers surrounding me .
