I can't make out the month but I do note that the same ink used to correct the day in the date was also used to write a new number in the address, too.

This cover was sent from Crow River to Minneapolis. It is very difficult to make out the cancel date. It looks like May 20 or May 21. Working from the receiving cancel on the back, I'm guessing that it was 1893. Looking at my Scott Specialized 2013 (page 594), I think it is a type U70 or U71 envelope, which was in issue from 1887-1894. The Crow River Post Office was closed in 1909.
