I just bought this cover on eBay. Of course it has my beloved Franklins on it, which is what got my immediate attention. Then I decided I liked the corner card from "The Great American Herb Company"... then my eye caught the postmark from "Wiedmanville, PA" hmmm talk about all in the same topic!

The best part is that I paid $12 for it! This kind of find is what keeps me looking. You never know what you'll find next. It's one of those "I don't know what I'm looking for but I'll know when I see it" kind of things!

And to tie my hobbies together, the company logo will probably appear on one of the old truck models I'll build in the future!

Hi BenFranklin;

Talk about a bargain! Wow! A red logo, and a green ink address and a purple cancel.
Don't see that everyday!

Just hangin'....

Interesting company!
This ad for one of their products was found in another cover from the company

Notice the "active ingredient"

This variety is apparently more "medical" than its Sativa counterpart

The real mystery is the picture of the pig eating corn - maybe the artist was trying out the product?

re: You Can't Make This Stuff Up!

I used to suffer from ingrown toe nails. One day my wife after visiting her family near the Texas-Mexico border, came home with a small bottle from Mexico. It was intended for ingrown toe nails. It too had a cannabis base. She bought it in Mexico. I only used it for a little while. I didn't notice that it helped, or maybe it did. I don't remember. I guess it made me feel good!

Hi Everyone;

Cut them off straight across, not curved! Not as much fun as the weed tho.

Just trippin'....

LOL, thanks Ken. I have had it under control for many years now. I now regularly chew my toe nails, and that takes care of the ingrown nail problem.

Hi Nelson! Many thanks for the ad from the same company! It is pretty cool history, gotta love this stuff. Now that I know they indeed were into the wacky, I will certainly lift the company logo off the envelope and turn it into a decal for one of my old truck models.

For those who can't picture it, here's a mock up of an early 20th century postcard that I used as decoration on an old traditional hot rod. This was one of those "what do you think?" shots to my friends.

And although the image is a bit fuzzy, here it is on a decal on the finished model car.

And man o' man... I never thought this thread would go down the slippery slope to ingrown toe nails! Happy
