When the black doesn't even match, it's almost a certain color changeling.
Take the normal stamp. Put it on the window sill and cover half of it with a piece of paper. Leave for a day and see what happens.
The wife speaking here. When viewed next to each other it is so obvious.
When he asked me to take a picture of the "freak", I insisted he put the normal stamp next to it. It is more obvious in the picture than in person that it must be a changeling.
This looked familiar so I checked my covers and I found my "changeling" of this stamp. Mine is an original stamp - either issued in the blue/green color or a forgery. It is not listed in Scott but it is #3268b - serpentine die cut 11 on 2, 3 or 4 sides, a booklet stamp. There is no note about a color variety.
Unfortuneately - I can't convert the PDF scanned image to a jpg file for uploading - but I will work onit.
