Greetings All. Not too sure what I have here. It's either a strange cancellation, or some sort of overprint:

Image Not Found

Looks like the letters "ON", "G", "S" and "C" at the 4 compass points of the stamp. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,

That stamp is Cochin India ( A feudatory state of India ) Official stamp Scott Number O59

And the overprint is On Cochin Government Service

This stamp is from Cochin, India, the "Pepper" centre of the world! The overprint OCGS is On Cochin Government Service.

Please read the entire thread. In several of the threads you have been posting in, you have either been repeating what has already been answered awhile back, or you have been repeating the same mistake that had previously been corrected.
