The Helvetia stamp can't be Scott #92a. That's a totally different stamp design. You will have to check if it is on wove paper (Scott #43) or granite paper (Scott #61).

I think you need to not worry so much about color variants on your stamps. First ID the stamp to its major number. Then you can check for a color variant. But be aware that older stamps have shades of the same color that can be very confusing and look like a variant, but actually is not.

The second stamp, over print of 7.5 Tells son is indeed slate.

The ID of the first, as Michael states, is dependent on paper type. So start there. However, what I see on my screen looks brown, not dark or light ( bister), but IDing color from onscreen images is questionable. But based on the color I see, I will guess you have the granite paper variety, which is Scott 61. Let us know what you determine.
