David,
I have the first edition of the book ikeyPikey mentioned. There are only a couple of dozen perfins from Netherlands Indies. By far the most common is S.M.N. (N.V. Stoomvaart Maatschappij Nederland).
Let me know if you want me to look up a perfin.
Jan
Jan:
Thank-you for your kind offer. Here is the stamp, front and back:
The perfin appears to be: R.S. / S.Z.
Thanks!

Hi David,
It is from R.S. Stokvis & Zonen, Soerabaja. It is known on some sixteen stamps from NVPH 41 to 100, and used from 1907-1912.
Jan
Thank-you, Jan.
I now have some research to do!
David
Does anyone know of a reference I can use to identify a perfin on a Netherlands Indies stamp?
Thanks!
