Hi Merv,
It looks like a standard Arial font.

Thanks, Tim. Couldn't make my mind up

This is a Steiner page for German New Guinea.
I always thought Arial was simply a newer version of Helvetica. Your question prompted me to do a quick Google search and I discovered I was wrong. They were developed independently and there are many more small differences than I had realized.

Steiner is probably no longer using the old Adobe Pagemaker software he was still using when I visited him many years ago. I'm not even sure if Pagemaker is compatible with newer versions of Windows. It's been years since I tried to use it. In any case, I'm guessing Bill began using Helvetica and then later switched to Arial, possibly out of necessity depending on which platform and software he upgraded to over the years. Once Microsoft licensed Arial, that font generally displaced the use of Helvetica in the PC marketplace and may have prompted Bill to make a change.
Note: I had absolutely no problem creating the live link!!!!
Hi,
Does anyone know what font Bill Steiner uses for his album pages? I'm adding pages for extras and would like to match the font.
Thanks,
Merv
