Few issues from SERBIA (classic) period shown here.
Must to inform, that this period (first 120 to up of 150 numbers in Michel catalog), are very-very hard to find in perfect condition. Almost non-exist in MLH condition, and all what You will see available, will be with some kind of fault. Michel catalog value this period very high for MH, MLH samples, and MNH material are selling over 200% of Michel catalog.

So, if You have or will have opportunity to purchase any from this period, by less than full Michel catalog value, keep it, as price will go just up!

A Service Dog gives a person with a disability independence. Never approach, distract or pet a working dog, especially when (s)he is in harness. Never be afraid to ask questions to the handler (parent).

re: Serbia - classic period:

Thanks for this thread - I have a couple of these shown but not listed on Scott. I got them from my regular dealer a few years back and he listed them real cheap because he too didn't know what he was dealing with. I've got Michel now so I'll check them out in there.

G thanks again! Big Grin

re: Serbia - classic period:

...nice and worth to have, as I search little bit around web, still no one available in offering. Interesting to know, if people/collectors, have it in collection, because quantity printed are unknown, and original issue come without overprint (Coat of Arms), as it was printed for Serbian Journalist Association, but after, it was overprinted with black Coat of Arms, and accepted as postage stamps. There is also option with tab (up), which can reach, on market, even more than 700.00 euro in cash.

So, really worth to search and obtain! But, yeah, there is an trap, as lot of fake/forgeries are on market, so I can not say which one You have in collection.

As it can cost a lot, don't purchase any set of this overprint without certificate, which You can made in APS or from local in Serbia.

I will be glad to see samples You have, if You can, send scan to my privat email.
