Epic! That Dark side of the Moon stamp is going right next to my Canada Rush stamp. Britain now needs to commemorate Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Judas Priest might be a bit much to ask.

Great Britain did Led Zeppelin in 2010 along with The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd. I believe, however, that these issues are more to commemorate iconic albums than the groups.

The new Pink Floyd set is for the group like the older set that was issued for The Beatles.

Norway did a Turbonegro stamp a few years ago and Australia put out an AC/DC stamp.
Finland (the only country in the world where heavy metal is mainstream!) put out a sheet with 6 stamps last year showing Hanoi Rocks, HIM, Apocalyptica, Nightwish, The Rasmus and last but not least Children of Bodom.

And then there are the Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix stamps from the USA.

I really should start a new topical collection!

Some of the old classic rock album covers would be PERFECT for stamps.

That one from "Dark Side of the Moon" looks great.

Now if the U.S. would put out a stamp with "Hotel California" by the Eagles...

I would go for Andy Warhol's legendary "Peel slowly and see" cover for the first VelvetUnderground album, which happens to be one of the best albums of all time musically as well.

To our friends in the UK, how many sheets (stamps) can you get to make sure all of us here have a set?

Would it be sad to say I have all the albums and CD's that are on the stamps? As well as been to several of their concerts?

Yes, I would be interested in a full set.

I'm going to buy some. Then when Canada legalizes marijuana in the spring I will shred them with some Acapulco Gold and play Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke and Floyd's Wish You Were Here.

Cheers, Dave.
