From the design, currency, and the Cyrillic (?) letters I tried all the usual suspects around the Eastern European block but to no avail. Feedback appreciated.

Thanks, Dave.

Ya, I was pretty sure Mikey###'s could weigh in with an opinion in the absence of an actual scan.

My bad...Laughing

If it's too small to make out the details without a magnifying glass let me know and I can do an "Adult Print" version.

Dave.

P.S. Does this not seem to fit with some kind of Yugoslavia? Made sense to me but couldn't find it.

re: Anyone recognize

Best Answer: It's the former Yugoslavian currency, and has been replaced by the Serbian dinar. Those dinara have relatively low value. 1 anhapa dinara is worth around 1 USA penny, so like 100 dinara is around $1 USD.

Sorry hit the wrong key.
This was from a website when I googled the currency. Haven't looked in catalogue but Yugoslavia would be a good bet.
