Wow -- the stamp gods were definitely with you that day! Well done!
Lovely stamps.
Happy Birthday!

So it was my birthday. Not a round number, but a birthday nevertheless. So I went and posted some meaningless low bids on some stamps I needed um, wanted (nobody needs stamps). Somehow the birthday gods smiled upon me..
I was really surprised at the low ball bid that was successful. In fact it scared me! I was prepared to receive it and find out why nobody bid higher but I was pleasantly surprised that it's as nice as it looks in the picture.
Then I got thinking that I didn't want to pay the postage charge for just one stamp, so I put in a low bid for this one.
And then I figgered that I wasn't winning the Columbian for that petty change, so I bid on this one.. again the postage thing.
Imagine my surprise when I won all three! To quote a famous philosopher... "Even the losers get lucky sometimes"
Now this has me eyeing my model car collection to list the more valuable ones on eBay to add to the stamp collection. This is dangerous stuff folks!
